small, handmade stoneware vessel has handle on side and spout on opposite side for pouring liquid. The bottom of the vessel has a slightly fluted foot. Thre is a cover for the opening in the top of the vessel. the cover is topped with a finial that is gracefully spiraled as is a fiddlehead fern. Colors are dark on the bottom 1/3 and a celedon green on the top 2/3. Surface impressions are of small ferns and other blossoms.
